This walking tour provides a comprehensive overview of central Vancouver showing you the gems of Gastown, Chinatown and Granville Island. You’ll see some of Vancouver’s key landmarks while enjoying some light history, art and lots of present-day culture. Along the way we’ll introduce you to our favourite local food shops, away from the madding crowds of other tour groups at chain restaurants. This is the perfect way to start your visit to Vancouver and you’ll want to keep a tally of all the places you’re going to want to come back to later, trust us!

• How long is the walking tour, and what’s the distance covered?
  • The tour typically lasts around 3 to 3.5 hours, covering approximately 3-4 kilometers (2.5 miles). The walk is leisurely paced with plenty of stops for sightseeing and rest.
• Is the walking tour suitable for children?
  • Yes! The tour is family-friendly and suitable for children. It’s an excellent way for kids to learn about Vancouver’s history and culture in an engaging and active way. However, please note the length of the tour when considering if it’s appropriate for your child’s age and stamina.
• Will the Tour Still Happen if it Rains?
  • Yes! We operate rain or shine like everyone else in Vancouver. Dress for the weather or ask us and we’ll be happy to give our recommendation. We will only cancel our walking tours due to severe weather forecasts, which very rarely happens.
• Is the tour accessible for wheelchairs and strollers?
  • The tour route is generally wheelchair and stroller friendly, but some areas, especially in Gastown, may have uneven surfaces or steps. Please contact us in advance if you have accessibility needs, and we will provide detailed information to ensure a comfortable experience.
• Are there any rest stops during the tour?
  • Yes! There are several rest stops planned at key points throughout the tour where you can use restrooms, sit down, and purchase snacks or drinks if desired.
