My name is Chad Krolouski. Most of my life and career has been dedicated to community-based travel & tourism. I feel very grateful to have travelled and worked with some incredible companies all over the world but Vancouver, British Columbia is where I call home. Like everyone who lives here or visits, I’m always amazed by the natural beauty of this city on the edge of wilderness, but it’s also the people and communities that makes it such a special place in the world.

Vancouver Local Adventures is a personal endeavor to help locals and visitors have the best possible experience of our city. Our walking tours celebrate the people, small businesses and stories that truly make Vancouver awesome!

Our Mission

We have one singular mission: to be the leading curator of craft drinks, food, and outdoor experiences for locals, visitors, and the community as both an ambassador and an advocate for Vancouver.

We’re here to have fun, eat, drink and be active. There’s nothing I enjoy more than a good day out with great people. We talk about the Vancouver of today! Our tour experiences take guests (both locals and visitors) away from touristic norms to more local areas and neighbourhoods, where they can really connect with a destination and its people.

The highlights of our tour experiences really come from the strength of our relationships with our local business partners, like breweries, restaurants, markets, etc. We try to get up close and personal with Vancouver and give our guests special access to places, people, history, and culture.

Imagine a group of local friends, people you can call on when you visit Vancouver to show you the secrets of their hometown, to drink craft beer or urban wine at their favourite watering holes, explore the neighbourhoods and alleyways of street art, taste local eateries and to get outdoors and be active on the ocean or in the North Shore Mountains. Our philosophy is based on developing and sustaining strong relationships with local businesses and producers of the finest craft beer, spirits, wine, and food to create an unforgettable day out for locals and visitors of Vancouver.

We love our local business owners and strive to create community-based tourism experiences. Everything we do includes the people and community that calls Vancouver home. All our tour experiences showcase the amazingness of our local partners who we visit, engage with and learn from. We are dedicated to them, the quality products they create, our community, and sustainability.

We’re proud to foster a diverse welcoming community with everything we do and with the community at large, where individuality, respect and inclusivity is always front of mind. We celebrate the differences and uniqueness that co-exist within us all.

I have grown my business one passionate relationship at a time. My guests and local partners are like my family. This is true now more than ever. They are the reason why my local business exists and the source of knowledge when I’m looking to grow.
